Shipping Botanical Compounds: Carrier Policies and Best Practices
Carrier policy still matters for botanical shipments. Understanding how FedEx handles this category — and what documentation protects your order — is operational knowledge worth having.
Field Desk
MGM Alkz
Botanical alkaloid shipments exist in a logistically complex space. The product is legal at the federal level but subject to state restrictions, and carrier policies haven't kept pace with the nuance. Here's what you need to know.
Carrier Overview
FedEx
FedEx's prohibited and restricted items list does not specifically mention kratom or mitragynine. As with most carriers, FedEx reserves discretionary refusal rights, so clean documentation and compliant destination filtering remain critical.
What We Do
MGM Alkz ships via FedEx as the default method. Packages are discreetly labeled — no product names or logos on exterior packaging. We do not ship to states where mitragynine is a scheduled substance.
Documentation That Protects Your Order
For laboratory and research acquisition, a brief statement of intended use and appropriate identity documentation can accompany orders at request. COAs for each batch are available on request and can be included with shipments.
Tracking and Delivery
All orders ship with tracking. Delivery estimates depend on destination and selected FedEx service. We provide tracking numbers via your contact method on file within 24 hours of shipment.
